MPO MTP Patchcord Description:
The MPO cables are most commonly used with high-density fiber patch panels. 1U 2U size or other size patch panel in data center application.
Combined with more flexible strain-reliefs and newer bend-insensitive fiber types for both SMF and MMF these new cable assemblies support more confined routing channels.
The rise of parallel optics has highlighted the importance of high-density fiber cable by requiring additional fibers in order to achieve new groundbreaking transfer rates.
The MTP fiber cable can be mass terminated in combinations of 4, 8, 12, 24, and 48 fiber ribbon cables. Optional Lengths are available. High-density MTP/MPO trunk cables with up to 288 fibers in a single cable. MPO Multi-fiber Push On is a type of optical connector that has been the primary multiple fiber connector for high-speed telecom and data communications networks.
